They serve in a variety of roles, some more theologically oriented than others. The deaconesses have several duties, including preparing the communion elements, assisting with baptismal preparations, and counseling or mentoring young women in the church and community. Deaconesses also visit the poor, sick, and shut-in and provide comfort to those in mourning.

Also, concerts, live recordings, and workshops. First Sunday, is the mass choir, which includes the voices of St. Mark, the Sons of Thunder, and total praise. The second Sunday is dedicated to the voices of the women's choir, the third is for our men's choir, Sons of Thunder, and the fourth goes to our youth and young adult choir, Total Praise.

Scholarship
Sis. Earline Walker

Whether it’s a congratulatory gift, a book grant for college, or a major scholarship, the committee is ready to push our community to go to the next level.
Ushers
Brother Willie Edwards
Ushers are to be Christ's and our church's representatives. Ushers are one of the first contacts with newcomers; therefore, we must welcome worshipers to the lord’s house with a warm and friendly smile. In us, the hospitality of God should be seen. Our role is significant because we serve the Lord.
Thus, we see that the church usher plays a very important part in the church’s program, and their conduct at the service is a reflection of the church. Therefore, it is in the interest of the church that our conduct as ushers is of the best at all times.
Virtuous Women
Deaconess Evelyn Craig
A Virtuous woman serves God with all of her heart, mind, and soul. She is trustworthy and is supposed to train the young women and children in the way they should go. A virtuous woman cares for her body and cooks healthy food for her family, friends, and others. She serves others with love and kindness and with a gentle and loving spirit. She is charitable and works diligently with others. The three main characteristics of a virtuous woman are faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of them all is love!
